So today was pretty much the same like yesterday, but a bit more chilled. There is no laundry to be done on Sunday, that's nice.
There was one special thing today though. Brody and Mike were not with us today, but with two sister walking the streets of Kolkata handing out goods to the homeless.
They found a man on the street, who was suffering from some kind of injury/disease on his foot. They brought him to Nirmal Hriday. It was very interesting to see how they manage newcomers at Nirmal Hriday. The injury seemed quite bad. It was wrapped in a stained cloth and plastic, there were also maggots and the color of the blood dripping from the supposedly open wound, did neither look healthy.
I also managed to get to sunflower house today and I'm very glad, that I can say, that I have an new accomodations starting on the fourteenth. So I don't have to sleep in the streets of Kolkata :D.
