India 10./11.07.2019

Yesterday was a bit of a weird day in the morning. When we arrived at Khaligat, I realized, that the atmosphere between the residents was pretty tense and that also kept on through till 12 o'clock. Sadly we couldn't figure out, what bothered the people that much.
I was assigned for window cleaning, Michael helped me. There are a lot of windows to clean!
In the afternoon I visited the Howrah Bridge and the flower market below the bridge. The bridge is very big and I felt very small. Standing midst on the bridge was nice, because a little breeze was going on there and you could watch the big Hooghly River flow below it.
The next day, Thursday, today we slept long because it's the volunteers day off.
Gama, Rosa, Julia, a german girl I meet at the breakfast yesterday ( first german except me, a bit weird to speak german again), Victor, Servatius, Benoît and me, went to the Nicco Amusement Park. It's a water and amusement park. First we went to the waterpark afterwards we rode some of the rollercoasters. And I tell you, these rollercoasters were very very very scary. But we made it home alive.
We went back and attended adoration, filling up our vessels with God's grace.

Now it's 10 o'clock and tomorrow is a work day. So I'm going to hit the mattress.
